And It’s a wrap! We came, we fought and we conquered! And so like a phoenix we rise from the ashes, dust ourselves and give a pat on our backs. Yes, our own backs! Go on give yourself one too.

In retrospect 2019 has been a ride! It started off with a bang and ended with an even louder bang. Some major highlights for me personally were spending time with my sister and her family in Norway while learning Norske from my 3yr old niece and eating whale meat. (I know, I don’t know why it’s legal but ya…I did it.) I tried the Viking culture of swimming in a -4 Degrees Celsius ocean in Harstad and sitting in an 80 Degrees Celsius sauna soon after. At that moment, I felt in the words of my favorite novelist Emily Bronte

“I wish I were a girl again, half-savage and hardy and free”

I was glad to be back in the hustle and jostle that is advertising. A stark contrast to the Scandinavian laid back lifestyle, the latter which was caught up in a very “fishy situation”. As I followed the twitter savagery, I quickly realized ironically that we were all like fish caught in a net that is 2019, which we so desperately wanted to get out of. From a perspective, Namibians spoke with a singular voice, against corruption and spoke their way to the ballot! The past few weeks have been hard for most, but the action has been taken. As the rains shower on us, we hope they take away the chaff that we so wish to leave behind us, to allow us to spring into a new life. Here’s to fresher outlooks!

Wishing you a successful 2020 as we close our offices. Thank you to all our clients and suppliers for working with us! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
