As if things couldn’t get any worse, the year 2020 has been dishing quite some theatric and historic landmarks. Events in the United States have gotten us at the edge of our seats, part because we are witnessing a new age in American and quite frankly world history as well as the fear of what will become of the entire world system? From street protests in antagonism to ‘lockdown’ systems imposed all over the world, to the renewed and now much louder ‘BlackLivesMatter’ protests which have attracted many other super powers from the United Kingdom to Australia, after the killing of George Floyd, it seems the year keeps on giving.
On the home front the lift of the alcohol ban has been welcomed by many. While we celebrate stage 3 of the lockdown with much ease and lesser anxiety. The industry gleams with hopes of picking up particularly in marketing related fields such as events management where the very core of it ‘social gathering’ almost obliterated it’s existence. As winter kicks in we hope it ushers with it a much needed breath of fresher air.
