The Ogilvy team continues to burn the midnight oil, through pitch nights, which are non-surprisingly pitch black thanks to the never-ending winter. We have recently heard through the grapevine that we are known as the ‘Ogilvy bi*es’ but of course we gladly welcomed that one because only bi*es win pitches. Pitching for the Bakpro account and re-winning it gave us much reason to celebrate! Such is the jovial mood at the office that we are ready to take on the next.
We welcome August the ‘Women’s month’ with joy and optimism. As a female dominated agency it is important for us to take time and honour each other’s hard work and strengths as well as celebrate the impact of women around the world. In the words of Maya Angelou:
“I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life’s a bitch. You’ve got to go out and kick ass”.
We at Ogilvy go out in the advertising world and grab the bull by its horns, unapologetically!
