Ogilvy Insider Q3
- Ogilvy Namibia

Hello Ogilvy Partners,
They say the festive season starts in October (especially if you ask Checkers), but for Ogilvy, 2025’s festive season kicked off back in August…
This quarter has been nothing short of intense. In just one month, August alone, we invoiced one-fifth of our annual turnover target. That’s the pace we’ve been running at - stretched, full throttle, but determined. The team is tired, yes, but they’ve shown grit, poured heart into every brief, and kept the spirit of this agency alive – we see you Team Red!
Between high-stakes campaigns, travelling up north for Ongwediva Trade Fair, and even a week of strategy with our Pernod Ricard partners who flew down from Johannesburg, the Reds have been everywhere - busy, bold, and holding the line.
It’s been fun, it’s been heavy, and it’s kept us split across many fronts, but always united in delivery.

Lets see what Q3 had install for us, happy reading.
Campaign Highlights
Shoprite Checkers, Namibian Champion Boerewors Finale: For the first time in the campaign’s 15th year history, a nine-year-old boy took first prize: https://www.instagram.com/p/DNgW1njuhKr/ . This is proof that this platform doesn’t just reach everyone across Namibia, it unites us around one of our most loved traditions: boerewors. Watch out kids, word has it that this campaign will be targeting schools in 2026.
Savanna “We See You” Campaign: A brilliant concept crafted by TBWA SA, (kudos team) launched in Namibia by Ogilvy digitally and through BTL activations. Have you seen our Savanna Spotters in on-trade yet? They really are the talk of the town: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DNF-jz0sNg7/
NHP Campaign: Our new medical aid client. Watch this space: campaign goes live in October – a campaign crafted around the customer, because “We are about you”.
Paratus “Power Your Next” Campaign Launch: On 2 September 2025, Paratus made history with the launch of Namibia’s first private mobile network - another 360° national campaign proudly powered by Ogilvy. Backed by a N$600 million investment, the rollout introduces LTE and 5G technology with a strong focus on data-only services, nationwide coverage, and speed. This bold move marks Paratus’s official entry into the mobile market and signals a new era of connectivity for Namibia. Unsurprisingly, competition in the telecom space is already feeling the pressure. Huge kudos to our Managing Director, Rozanne van der Merwe, and the Ogilvy team for the creative firepower behind this milestone. Watch the TVC here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOd_z2jkdkM/
People & Growth

AI Upskilling: Agency-wide ChatGPT training with an expert; all staff are now onboard with accounts to maximize daily efficiency.
Staff Upskilling & Development: Gina Jossop, our Digital Business Leader, completed her Red & Yellow Digital Marketing course and passed with flying colours. She passed with an impressive 89% average – a true reflection of utter dedication to a field she knew nothing about.
Exposure: Our Reds attended the annual Nedbank IMC Conference, take homes were very insightful! Special thanks to Future Media for our tickets.
Networking: We joined the Namibia Trade Network Business Breakfast with AJM Tax Consulting & Venture Media. Team Red showed up curious and caffeinated, taking notes on how tomorrow’s tax policy shapes today’s business decisions. We’re translating those insights into sharper strategies for our clients, so creativity lands with compliance and commercial impact.
Red House Moments

Two-Year Milestone: Roche Van Wyk, our Events Coordinator, celebrated two years at Ogilvy and now qualifies for flextime – she’s over the moon. We are blessed to have you Che!
Farewell: We bid farewell to Marcia Sajeni, who has moved on to O&L. We will miss her dearly and wish her every success.
Welcome Back: Pensive Karises rejoined the Red House, after her unofficial “sabbatical” – she is now servicing two of the agency's legacy portfolios.
At Ogilvy, food isn’t just fuel, it’s part of our culture. Big thanks to the Taste Academy for hosting us! Our Moroccan cook-off turned colleagues into chefs, and chefs into champions: Proof that a team that cooks together, clicks together: https://www.instagram.com/p/DMpiCmeM1m7/
Celebrations: Simon Raines (IT & Labour Consultant) marked his birthday with us.
A Bittersweet Legacy Moment
We bid a heartfelt farewell to founder of Ogilvy Namibia, the one and only Anny Mouton - a woman who didn’t just build our agency, but shaped the face of advertising in Namibia.

In 1996, Anny planted the seeds of Ogilvy Namibia - armed with two degrees, four children, and a vision bolder than the times allowed. She raised a generation of rebels, thinkers, and makers. She launched campaigns that became culture: The Namibian Dollar. Pasta Polana. MTC. These weren’t just brands - they were national moments.
For nearly three decades, Anny built more than just business. She built people. And she built them well. Mentoring hundreds of young professionals, many of whom now lead the industry in their own right, her fingerprints are found in boardrooms, brainstorming sessions and hearts across this country. Ms. Mouton has proudly handed over to new leadership and remains fully invested on the board as a proud shareholder.
To mark the moment, we created a portrait - a tribute not just to her leadership, but to her love for this agency and its people. Always calm. Always fierce. Always Anny.
The Big Move

After 20 years, we said goodbye to the Red House in Eros. On Monday, 29 September, Team Red stepped into their brand-new home at 158 Jan Jonker Street. This has not just been a move, it’s a new wave of energy and possibility. If you happen to find yourself in our area, pop in and say hi — the kettle’s already on.
What’s Lies Ahead for Q4
Motherhood Namibia Annual Charity Event coming 11 October: With FNB as main sponsor and a powerhouse panel including Monica Geingos, Sven Thieme, Lazarus Jacobs, and more — this is more than an event - it’s a cause close to our hearts and one of Ogilvy’s proudest commitments this year.
Two additional, new appointments have been made – these particular positions are a very first for our agency in 29 years. Welcoming Lauren Mouton back to the agency, Ogilvy’s first ever Talent & Culture Officer in 29 years. Also, Natassja Strauss as our first Content & Talent Coordinator.
Wellness Day: October brings Breast Cancer Awareness to the Red House.
Year-End Campaigns: Gearing up to close 2025 on a high.
Q3 was big. It tested us, grew us, and reminded us that this agency was built on resilience, creativity, and a whole lot of culture. As we close one chapter and unlock another, we’re carrying forward the ripple effect of success and memories into Q4.
Now let’s finish the year the only way Ogilvy knows how: with bold ideas, early mornings, strong coffee, and a little bit of chaos that somehow always turns into magic.
Wishing everyone the absolute best for the last stretch of the year, make it matter.
With all my love & leadership,
Megan Pritchard
CEO & Shareholder
